Note from Enlivening Edge Magazine Editor: We are saddened by this news. We have published several articles supporting TATW’s expected future.
But we recognize that the need to shift arises. We gratefully honor the many core team and farflung volunteers who made the previous conferences (see videos here) so worthwhile and exciting for the global Teal movement, and who (including Enlivening Edge) produced an awesome book anthology of stories of Teal organizations around the world.
We expect to support whatever emerges as the next phase for TATW because TATW is so aligned with our own evolutionary purpose of Catalyzing relationships among innovators who are accelerating the evolution of organizations and social systems for human and environmental thriving.
Our Teal Around the World adventure has been great fun and we have loved and been inspired by the great community that has been created. It has been so energizing to see all the connections, growth, and learning opportunities.
It has always been run by a team of committed volunteers and has been run as a not-for-profit organization. This means that sometimes other commitments have to take priority.
We are at that phase now and need to celebrate our success for the past 5 years, press pause and put the TATW project on hold as a sabbatical. We will therefore not be hosting the 2025 Hybrid Conference.
What This Means:
- TATW Sabbatical: We will pause our plans for the TATW Hybrid Conference in 2025. This is not goodbye, but a moment to reflect, regroup, and reimagine our future together.
- Crowdfunding Closure: We will be closing our crowdfunding efforts. All donations will be returned, and tickets sold for the conference will be refunded. For any questions or concerns, please reach out to us at [email protected].
- Resources Remain Available: Our website and YouTube channel will remain active for anyone looking to access information or relive the moments from past conferences.
- Global Teal Meetups: We encourage those who wish to continue the spirit of connection and learning💖 The volunteer group of GTM’s will still organize the meet ups either monthly or quarterly for GTM-Europe, GTM-APAC and GTM-Americas. Stay informed about GTM news by following updates on the Teal Network Group on LinkedIn and www.tealaroundtheworld.com
- A Message from Our Founders: To our friends who deferred their tickets to 2025, we offer the option to have your funds returned or to kindly donate them to support the community in this transition period. We are committed to ensuring a smooth and transparent process as we officially close the crowdfunding.

This is not the end of our journey, but a pivot towards new beginnings. The essence of TATW has always been about community, resilience, and the shared belief in a teal future. We invite each of you, our valued members, to share this message within your networks, fostering understanding and support as we navigate this period.
