In Europe, the train has left the station! The number of organizations that are making bold steps to adopt a whole new kind of management is really impressive, from small companies to even a handful of very large ones.
In the US (where I now live), I’ve heard from a few organizations here and there but it’s not quite as explosive yet. And yet, I sense that the need is just as big, that the waste in human potential and suffering at all levels of the pyramid is just as pervasive. So it’s bound to happen in the same way.
Some time ago, I’ve decided not to travel much at all and only give two talks a year related to “Reinventing Organizations”.
In 2020, it feels right to focus on the US. If you are an organizer in one of the major conferences that attract people who are open to the ideas I share and would be interested in me speaking, reach out to me.
(In the same vein, if you are a journalist in a major outlet in the US that still does longer pieces – The New York Times, the Atlantic, … – and if you are interested to write about this budding revolution in management, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to help you for that story).
